2022
The collection merges traditional Yoruba tailoring with military-inspired elements, imagining garments that symbolise protection, resistance, and unity. Using the traditional Adire dyeing technique, deadstock fabrics were hand-dyed to create the indigo tones that run throughout the collection. Drawing from silhouettes such as the Agbada and other Nigerian garments, Adire Ogun reinterprets heritage through contemporary form. A collection about identity, resilience, and movement.
